Oxide and Danny Pang movies has grown in popularity thanks to their horror suspense films. Like other top grossing Asian horror films a Hollywood remake of one of their movies had been made. The story is about a romance novelist turned horror writer who starts living the things that she writes. The mysterious land that she is transported to is made up of jilted composed writings and the spirits of the dead who were forgotten by humans. She finds herself in the middle of this hostile world where she has to fight of the dead for her life. The striking visual effects and unexpected scares of this movie will make you accidentally spill your popcorn on your lap.
